Nerds & Music

Nerds promo pic 2019.jpg

Nerds & Music is made up in equal parts by Clark Gormley and Wayne Thompson. They have been performing their original brand of quirky songs since 2008. Audiences are regularly rendered dumbstruck by their weirdness, witticisms, wordplay, and alliteration.

They have played at pubs, festivals, birthday parties and public primary school P&C benefit nights.  They are available to play anywhere anytime.

Reviews

“They left us wanting less” (Facebook)

“Their performance was a Tour De France” (said by a passing cyclist)

“I was mildly bemused” (Wayne’s mum)

Somerton Man, by Clark. If you don’t know who he is, look him up. He just happens to be Clark’s special subject in the first round when he went on Mastermind.

Here’s Yellow Wheely Bin, our song with an environmental message about breaking up, not breaking down.

Favourite Texta, filmed at the iconic King Edward Park. We were practically mobbed by bemused onlookers.

Nerds & Music singing Santa’s in a Bad Way for the xmas musicalendar way back in 2015.

According to Clark & Wayne (aka Nerds & Music) it seems Santa has hit a pretty rough patch...the song speaks for itself and we can only hope Mr Claus gets himself together over the next 20 days or Xmas might be doomed... These guys write gold comedy tunes and do it all for a good cause: Laughter!

Back in 2020 we performed an online show for the wonderful Canterbury Bankstown TV as part of their council’s Keep Connected program. https://www.facebook.com/ourcbcity/videos/2770628049860465 Yes, you need a Facebook account to view it.
